Empowering slum dwellers

Good Samaritan Ministries Uganda provided menstrual hygiene and reusable pad making, Liquid soap making, nutrition and water safety.


The training was carried out from 20th at Meeting place hall in Katwe. Near the GSM head office, Starting at 9am – 5pm on each of these days. This was done by professional trainers from (Advocates for Sustainable Health and Wealth in Africa (ASHWA) in partnership with Latek Stay Alliance. The training was aimed at creating strong and firm communities that are fully knowledgeable and sensitized in nutrition, water safety, menstrual hygiene, reusable sanitary pad making and liquid soap making. Through these get these communities that are economically empowered.
