Many children in Uganda don’t have access to a good education. Good Samaritan Ministries Uganda puts a many children through school, from nursery to university Both in Good Samaritan Schools and other government schools.
Providing holistic care for the children and more importantly, caring for the hearts of our children — nurturing their spirits and addressing their worries Changing the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in the communities we serve.
PRIMARY EDUCATION
Good Samaritan Primary was the first school we opened. Opened in 1990 with three classrooms It has now grown up to primary seven and Sister school in Nambirizi. Unlike many schools in Uganda, our students do not have to pay any school fees. Our children are given everything they need to succeed: We provide housing, porridge and food for the students living on campus, medical, life skills training, and a gospel centered community.

SECONDARY EDUCATION
Good Samaritan High School was opened in 2004 to allow children from primary section to continue their studies without trouble and as a way of supporting them achieve their academic goals. Its different for each student. Some may go on to secondary school and university. Others choose to learn a trade through a vocational program these are supported where they choose to continue their education. We support some of our student that dont wish to continue to start small business through our youth skilling and empowerment program.
TERTIARY EDUCATION
We support our students right to the time they achieve their education goals. This is done through supporting them in their tertiary or higher institutions of choice. As they prepare to graduate, we talk to them to help them transition — equipping them with life skills.

We providing educational tools and training as a first step to help children become lifelong learners, improve their communities, protect themselves from violence, and live a productive and fulfilling life.
